Q. How can I book a stadium tour?
A. It is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment. You can either book online or telephone our Customer Care Team on 029 20822432. Alternatively you can book on the day at the WRU shop, but please be aware that availability may be limited due to the popularity of the stadium tours
Q. Am I able to turn up for a tour without booking in advance?
A. It is advisable to pre-book to avoid disappointment, but you can turn up on the day. Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour is due to start
Q. Are stadium tour tickets transferable?
A. No. However, it may be possible to re-schedule pre-booked tours
Q. Is there a booking fee?
A. There is no booking fee
Q. How far in advance can we book?
A. Up to 3 months in advance
Q. I am disabled. Will I be able to go on a stadium tour at Principality Stadium?
A. Yes. Please contact us when booking to discuss access arrangements, so we can make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Parking is available for disabled visitors but no guaranteed. Please ensure that you call 029 20822432 to make arrangements well before the tour date
Q. Am I able to take young children on the tour?
A. Yes, under 5’s go free on stadium tours (this exemption does not apply to Santa Tours) and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult
Q. I have booked a date but need to move it to another date. Can this be done?
A. It may be possible to re-schedule pre-booked tours. Please email email@example.com for further assistance or telephone our Customer Care Team on 029 20822432
Q. Can I book a private tour?
A. Yes, a private tour can be booked at a minimum cost of £150
Q. How many people are in each tour group?
A. There is availability for up to 30 people on the public tours. For larger groups, e.g. school parties, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone our Customer Care Team on 029 20822432 or telephone the Tour Manager on 029 20822308 to discuss your needs
Q. Can I get a refund if I cancel my tour?
A. Generally, refunds will not be given if you cannot make your tour but it may be possible to re-schedule pre-booked tours
Q. Do tours run all year or just in season time?
A. Tours run throughout the year, however, they do not run on match/event days
Q. Will we see any players on tour?
A. As a rule, no. Although sometimes during the week leading up to a home match the national team will train at the stadium but there is no guarantee that you will see any players
Q. What times are the Stadium Tours?
A. Public tours generally run on the hour every hour, Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday and Bank Holidays 10.15am-4pm. During extremely busy periods tour times and tour availability may vary and spaces may be limited so it is important that you check availability to avoid disappointment
Q. How long will the tour last?
A. Tours will take approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. We advise that you allow an extra 10 minutes to be on the safe side
Q. Where do I go to join the tour?
A. Tours operate from the WRU Store, Westgate Street, Cardiff (between Gates 3 & 4). Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour is due to start
Q. Are tours conducted in languages other than English?
A. Public tours are in English, but if you require a tour in either French or Welsh, please contact us and tell us your preference at the time of booking. We will endeavour to arrange a guide who speaks your language to lead your group, however, this may not be possible every time
Q. Is there anywhere to leave luggage or bags?
A. No. You are responsible for all your baggage at all times
Q. Is there anywhere for us to eat within the stadium?
A. No. There are currently no public café or restaurant facilities available at the stadium
Q. Can I take photographs inside the stadium?
A. Photograph’s are at the discretion of the tour guide and will depend on what is going on in the stadium on the day of the tour. No audio or visual recordings are allowed
